    Certified Positions

    Elementary Teacher (Grades 2-3): Applicants must hold a valid MS Educator License with a 116, 154, or 120 endorsement.

    Speech Language Pathologist (Grades 9-12):  Applicants must hold a valid MS Educator License with a 215 endorsement.

     

    Classified Positions

    Bus Drivers: Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    1. 21 years of age or older
    2. Good physical health
    3. Good moral character and ability to handle a crisis
    4. Possess a valid MS Driver License with a satisfactory driving record and either possess a CDL Class B with P and S endorsements OR be willing to participate in training to acquire a CDL with the necessary endorsements.

     Crossing Guards: Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

    1. 18 years of age or older
    2. Good physical health
    3. Good moral character and ability to handle a crisis

    Assistant Teacher (Grades 2-3): Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    1. An associate degree
    2. 48 hours of college credit OR
    3. Silver Level certification on the WorkKeys
      1. Applied mathematics (passing score 4)
      2. Reading for Information (passing score 4)
      3. Locating Information (passing score 3)

    Assistant Teacher-SpEd (Grades 6-8): Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    1. An associate degree
    2. 48 hours of college credit OR
    3. Silver Level certification on the WorkKeys
      1. Applied mathematics (passing score 4)
      2. Reading for Information (passing score 4)
      3. Locating Information (passing score 3)

    Applicants must possess the skills and dispositions needed to support special needs students in a self-contained setting. Information about the WorkKeys tests is available by clicking here.

    The Office of Personnel is located at 3375 Highway 80 East, Pearl, Mississippi 39208.  Personnel office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4:00.
