Distance Learning/At-Home Learning Information

  • To support student learning during this school closure time, PPSD teachers and administrators have prepared distance learning assignments.  Below are links to distance learning assignments and extra resources for your students.

All are strongly encouraged to use the digital version of the assignments provided here.  Please know that we are asking students to be prepared to submit distance learning assignments when school resumes.  This work is designed to reinforce and enrich student skills while schools are closed.  This work will not negatively affect students’ averages but may be used to help students meet promotion requirements.

If you or your student have any questions about the distance learning assignments, please email your classroom teacher.

Students taking Career and Technical Education (CTE) course (formerly known as Vo-
Tech) and academic dual credit courses will be required to complete all course assignments online in the Canvas platform as assigned by each instructor according to the deadlines established in each course syllabus.  These requirements are necessary because of the college credit being earned.  Here is a link from Hinds Community College to help students access their Canvas accounts:  https://hindscc.instructure.com/courses/413277.
