Assistant Teachers

  • Pearl Public School District employs assistant teachers at all grade levels in a variety of disciplines. To be eligible for an assistant teacher position, an individual must meet ONE of the following three requirements:

    1. Hold an associate's degree (or higher)

    2. Have earned at least 48 semester hours of college credit

    3. Have passed the WorkKeys Test in reading (Workplace Documents - minimum score of 4), mathematics (Applied Mathematics - minimum score of 4), and writing (Business Writing - minimum score of 3)
