In the interest of enhancing existing security measures at athletic events hosted by Pearl Public School District, the PPSD Athletic Department will implement a new security policy regulating the type of bag that may be carried into PPSD sports venues beginning Friday, September 8, 2023.
- Fans will not be allowed to bring any type of bags inside PPSD athletic facilities during games. However, small purses are permitted. Diaper bags will also be permitted for adults with small children.
- Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, the following: large purses; backpacks, and cinch/drawstring bags; luggage of any kind; briefcases; and computer bags/cases.

All students, eighth grade and below, must be accompanied by a responsible adult to be allowed entrance into any Pearl Public School District extra-curricular event. The adult must remain at the event with the student.
