Pearl Junior High School Principal Selected for the 2025-2026 School Year

We are delighted to announce the selection of Dr. Dennis Philebar as the Principal of Pearl Junior High School, beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year. 

Dr. Philebar brings 13 years of experience—all within the Pearl Public School District—to this leadership role. He began his career at Pearl High School as a mathematics teacher, instructing Algebra I, Algebra III, and dual-enrollment math courses. After several years in the classroom, he transitioned to administration and has spent the past five years as Assistant Principal at Pearl Junior High School.

Throughout his career, Dr. Philebar has been dedicated to helping students grow academically, supporting teachers, and fostering a positive school culture. He and his wife, Jenny, have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of their daughter, McKenna.

"I am beyond excited to continue serving the Pearl Junior High community in this new role,” said Philebar. “This school holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to building on our strong foundation, creating new opportunities for success, and making this year our best yet!
