Hello PJHS Pirates,
We hope you are staying safe and healthy. If you have an urgent mental health need, please contact the Region 8 Crisis Line for immediate support at 601-825-8800 or visit the crisis website for more options at http://region8mhs.org/crisis-services/.
If you are already connected with an outside counselor/therapist – please connect with them.
Thank you so much for your support and flexibility through these times. Please know that we are still here for you and will respond as fast as we can. Here is some general information that we would like to share:
The best way to reach us is by e-mail. Please be mindful that we will not have access to our office phone. Also, please be as specific as possible in your e-mail. For the 8th grade and 7th grade (last names L-Z) Counselor – Lauren King, lking@pearlk12.com. For the 6th grade and 7th grade (last names A-K) Counselor – Brigit Nelson, bnelson@pearlk12.com.
A lot of information will be posted on our district and school website. We would like to provide some additional information to help guide our students and their families during this challenging time. Remember, it's very important to take care of both your mental and physical health so that you can be there for others who need you the most!
