I’m excited to share that this is my 20th year of teaching!

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to supporting students as they grow and succeed. I work closely with my amazing assistant, Ms. Horn, and together we ensure that every student receives the individualized attention they need.

I have the privilege of co-teaching with Mrs. Hayes, Ms. Mills, and Mrs. Ivy. We collaborate to provide accommodations, support learning, and discuss student progress. I also work closely with parents and families and can provide any additional resources needed to help your child succeed.

I work with students one-on-one or in small groups, focusing on reteaching concepts from the general education classroom and helping them meet their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

I am committed to following the Science of Reading, and I use an Orton-Gillingham phonics program to build strong foundational reading skills. I am trained in Phonics First and recently completed a course on Specifically Designed Instruction for Increasing Success for Students with Disabilities. Additionally, I am participating in a program with the National Council of School and University Partnerships at Ole Miss to improve math proficiency for students with disabilities. This involves implementing carefully planned small group math learning centers in our inclusion classes.

Thank you for visiting my website! I am looking forward to a great year!
