City of Pearl Seal Government Overview

The governing body is the Mayor and Alderman form, consisting of seven alderman, six of whom are elected from separate precincts or wards and one who is elected for the Municipality at Large. The Mayor, who is elected at large, and the members of the Board of Alderman are elected for concurrent four year terms.
